Laurie Cotter

Laurie Cotter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from Lakehead University and brings more than 30 years of leadership and supervisory experience with Peoples Jewellers. She has also operated her own network marketing business with Arbonne for the past eight years, helping others pursue healthier lifestyles and personal growth.

In 2017 and 2018, Laurie completed life coach training through the Brave Thinking Institute, further strengthening her passion for empowering and supporting others.

A proud mother of one and grandmother of two, Laurie is deeply committed to family, community service, and social justice. As Social Justice Chair, she looks forward to advancing initiatives focused on feeding the hungry, advocating for St. Mary’s University, supporting grandparents raising grandchildren, and collaborating with councils to advance their individual priorities and community impact.

Drawing on decades of leadership experience, a passion for personal development, and a deep commitment to service, Laurie is dedicated to building stronger communities and creating opportunities that make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
