Beginning on Ash Wednesday and for each Sunday of the season of Lent, Bishop McGrattan is offering spiritual renewal reflections for individuals, families and communities in the Diocese as we prepare to celebrate the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This 8-part video series of Lenten Spiritual Renewal (15-25 minutes reflection) is a part of the Diocesan Spiritual Renewal “Duc in altum | Put out into the deep”. Read the Bishop's Lenten Message here

Welcome to

the Catholic Women's League (CWL)

in the Diocese of Calgary

In the world today, as perhaps never before, the church needs an enlightened and faithful laity. Dedicated members of The Catholic Women's League of Canada live their faith by serving others and, thus, discover Christ through relationships with others.

 We are women of all backgrounds, ages 16 to over 90, wishing to serve God and Canada, seeking "faith, fun and fulfillment" together.

The Calgary Diocesan Council is comprised of all southern Alberta CWL Councils -- from Hanna in the north to Milk River in the south.

 Please explore our site, Mission Statement and Member Information, and consider joining us. We'd love to have you!

 Prayers and a spirit of joy are important parts of CWL as members journey together in faith.

Life is a series of new beginnings;
make the CWL a priority in your life - the benefits are eternal!
