100th Anniversary Prayer Card

This prayer was composed by Renee Spohn for the Calgary Diocesan CWL 100th anniversary. The artwork was created by Renee's daughter, Elizabeth Ankermann. Prayer Cards were gifted to each member in the Diocese at the 100th Annual Convention held in Calgary in 2022.

God, our Divine Creator, you build the house which shelters our sisterhood.
We live and prosper peacefully in Canada. Your love endures forever.

We are nourished by You, the Bread of Life.
Every night, we rest in comfort and protection.
Each morning, we awake to Your call for us.

Your Holy Spirit dwells in our hearts guiding our journey together.
Not one step is taken alone, as daily we choose to walk with Jesus.
Your love endures forever.

With the grace of Our Lady of Good Counsel, we are united
as Catholic women in faith to serve and fulfill Your will here on earth.

We praise Your holy name!
You have blessed us for one hundred years.
Make Your home within us, as we continue to see Jesus in others so they too will know
Your love endures forever.

We lift up our prayer to You Lord, Giver of Life.  Amen
