In celebration of the feast day of St. Camillus, the Calgary Catholic Medical Association (CCMA) would be delighted to have you and your families take part in a pilgrimage to The Shrine Church of Our Lady of the Rockies!
St. Camillus is a patron of the sick and health care providers. He started a religious order specifically for the care of the sick. His intercession will be especially helpful for us in this time of Pandemic.
With social distancing requirements at the Shrine Mass, you must pre-register for mass by clicking HERE, after July 11th. If you need help registering, please contact us in advance, and we will register on your behalf. At the end of Mass, Fr. Nathan and our chaplain Fr. Storey will give us and our families a blessing.
Following Mass, we will go on a short kid-friendly hike in behind the shrine to see it from the top, and visit the nearby hoodoos. Please bring your own picnic lunch for your family.
For those who are interested, guided tours of the Shrine are available in the afternoon. You can sign up by clicking HERE after the weekend of July 11th.
RSVP to give us an idea of numbers.
Directions: Take exit 89 from Trans-Canada Hwy #1 West. You can't miss it.
Time: Please arrive at 9AM for Holy Mass at 9:30 AM.
Tour & Hike: For those who would like a tour of the Shrine, we now have the honour of having Fr. Nathan Siray giving us a private tour after morning mass! After the tour, Dr. Thomas Bouchard will lead us on a short family-friendly hike behind the shrine to view it from up top, and visit the nearby hoodoos. Don't miss! Please bring your own picnic lunch.
