Thursday, September 30, 2021 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Ottawa has set aside Sept. 30 as the first national day to reflect on truth and reconciliation and the legacy of residential schools.
This National Day is a federal holiday but is currently not a statutory holiday in Alberta. It is considered a working day.
