"Through Mary's Eyes" Dramatization

You are invited to the dramatization: "Through Mary's Eyes"

St. Mary's (Brooks) invites all League members to a powerful and prayerful presentation of live reader’s theatre, live music, and a slide presentation of beautiful art. Commissioned by St. Albert Parish, this unique and original, professional theatre piece is created and performed by Maureen Rooney with musical accompaniment by Paul Punyi.

• Be led through the life of Jesus, as seen through the eyes of his mother.
• Meet a young Mary who is frightened of what others will say after she has said “Yes” to God.
• Follow her story as a hard-working mother who loses her child, Jesus, and then finds him in the temple.
• Experience the tearful passion and joyful resurrection, as seen through Mary’s eyes.
• Gentle guitar music provides the sound-scape and effortlessly bridges these three parts together, as you make the journey through the life of Jesus.
