Pope Francis has announced October 2019 as the Extraordinary Month of Mission (EMM) with the theme: "Baptised and Sent: The Church of Christ on Mission in the World." It's an extra-special month of prayer and action to help strengthen and grow God’s Mission and the Church. Dioceses, parishes, schools, and individuals are encouraged to use their creativity to develop initiatives that will bring the EMM to life. World Mission Sunday on October 20th complements the EMM, as it focuses on financially supporting overseas missions.
