Foundations of a Social Justice Spirituality

Diocesan CWL Events
13 Apr 2019 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
Corpus Christi Parish Hall, 5931-4 St. NW, Calgary

Sometimes our faith seems very theoretical, and we struggle to find practical ways to live it out. A key component of our faith in action is seeking social justice for our world. But what does “social justice” actually mean? Come join us on Saturday, April 13 as Bishop Emeritus Frederick Henry offers teachings on the topic. The goal of this day long workshop is to provide teachings on the definition of social justice, practical ways to champion it as a “cause” and how it impacts our own daily lives. The workshop will be held at Corpus Christi Parish Hall, 5931 4 St NW. To register or for more information, visit the Diocese's Events page or call 403-218-5519. Cost: $40, includes lunch.
