A warm invitation to join me for a public lecture that I am giving in Calgary:
"Catholicism and Human Flourishing: Practical Lessons from the Spiritual Masters"
Overview:
Blending insights from the social sciences with the wisdom of Catholicism, this presentation explores how to live a life of human flourishing. The second-century theologian St. Irenaeus wrote that “the glory of God is a human being fully alive!” What does this mean? How can we live a better, happier life? This presentation will draw upon insights from Catholic saints from different periods of Church history to see what RELEVANT and PRACTICAL lessons we can learn from them about finding happiness and purpose in our contemporary lives. All are welcome!
